splash portraits

Art Description
The four Splash Portraits were a special challenge for me, as the people depicted are close family members. Each portrait is a piece of art with its own color scheme. The background is lively, with strong colors, wild structures and splashes and is broken up by the homogeneous monochrome colored areas of the faces, which are cropped by the vertical format and thus almost become abstract. On closer observation, it is noticeable that the color schemes run like a link across all portraits, reappearing in the neighboring portraits and thus creating a connection between all family members.
